Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Sr. Mary Grace Giaimo and Sr. Marta Dalcin, General Councillors, visited the two Apostle missions in Calavi and Abomey, Benin, August 22-29, 2011. The sisters in both these missions serve in health care, catechesis, and other pastoral ministries. Many young women are coming to know the charism of Mother Clelia Merloni. During the Councillors’ visit, the novice Sidonie Zanmenov Bleou made her First Profession in Calavi and Sr. Germaine Goutchoessa professed her Perpetual Vows in Cotonou. A large number of priests, religious, and laity from Cotonou, Calavi, and Abomey participated in the celebrations, which were a beautiful witness of the vitality and promise of the mission in Benin.
